Duties & Responsibilities
- Procurement of goods and services, including the process from invitation of quotes and / or tender process to the award of quotations and tenders.
- Drawing up a plan for the purchase of goods, equipment and services.
- Preparing, establishing and managing contracts.
- Reviewing quotations and vendor selection.
- Training staff to ensure compliance with the procurement policies of the company.
- Recommending improvement in procedures.
- Establishing and maintaining consistent procurement regulations among the various departments.
- Ensuring conflict of interest situations do not arise in the procurement activities.
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases, budgets, expenditure, suppliers and pricing.
- Liaising with the departments on their requirements, including the quality and quantity of goods and services requested and delivery schedule.
- Negotiating with suppliers on the best deals for the company.
- Maintaining and developing good relations with the suppliers.
- Tracking of orders.
- Any other duties as assigned by Director, Finance.
