Roles & Responsibilities

• Assign accurate clinical codes to patient medical records in accordance with MOH and international coding standards.
• Review and ensure completeness and accuracy of clinical documentation.
• Work with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff to clarify or verify medical information for coding purposes.
• Enter coded data into hospital systems for reporting, billing, and claims submission.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with coding guidelines and hospital policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient health records.
• Keep updated with changes in coding standards and healthcare regulations.
