Roles & Responsibilities

Location: Kaki Bukit

Working Hour: Mon-Fri | 8.30am-5.30pm

Salary: Up to $4,500.00

Job Description:

• Develop new supply sources when existing vendors and suppliers are inadequate.
• Identify potential suppliers to secure cost-effective materials for construction projects.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best terms, including pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Issue purchase orders, source materials, liaise, negotiate, and follow up with suppliers on documentation, pricing, and quality control.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and minimize project delays.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing activities with current and long-term sourcing needs.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of procurement records for compliance and audit purposes.
• Handle other ad-hoc administrative tasks related to procurement.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in construction purchasing or procurement.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and procurement software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of construction materials and supply chain processes is an advantage.
