Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Advise senior management and business stakeholders on all legal and compliance matters
- Review, negotiate and draft a broad range of commercial and transactional contracts
- Key legal adviser to business stakeholders on all major business
- Provide responsive and quality work ensuring that Legal is brought in regularly and early in all appropriate matters so as to effectively identify and address areas of risk to the business
- Advise management on dispute matters should they arise
- Advise and provide support on Compliance at the company level and associate companies level e.g. data protection, anti-bribery, anti-corruption and other company policies
- Help to maintain and update template contract database and other legal files
- Monitor new and updated regulations and provide briefings and training to the business as necessary
Requirements :
Degree in LawBar qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualification experienceSound knowledge of general corporate law, contract law, intellectual property law, litigation and general contract negotiationsThorough knowledge of legal principles, research techniques, legal terminology and relevant government regulationsAbility to work in demanding situations with minimal oversightStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to communicate complex topics to employees at all levelsInterested candidates may send their CV to MAC (Reg No. R1221300) at anc1@anchorsearchgroup.com quoting the job title in the Subject line.
