Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
- Deal with all matters pertaining to Work Place Occupational Health and Safety of the Project Site
- Conduct Mass Toolbox Meeting
- Conduct Monthly WSH Committee Meeting and Conduct Weekly WSHO site inspection
- Conduct Emergency Preparedness Exercise (eg. Fire Drill)
- Conduct Internal Safety Audit
- Perform daily site inspection to ensure compliance to all legal & other requirements
- Identify unsafe work practices / work conditions and implement control measures to rectify unsafe work
- Ensure all control measures that are being recommended are implemented properly
- Monitor & assess on the effectiveness of all recommended control measures
- Ensure all personnel on site complied to all in-house rules & regulations
- Ensure all activities / procedures complied to all statutory requirements
- Review Safe Work Procedures / Risk Assessment
- Conduct training for staff & workers to create awareness of Safety Measurement
- Conduct presentations ( Safety Management System) to Client / Consultant
- Promote Safety Culture / Safety Attitude
- Evaluation on the Safety Performance of all subcontractors
- Maintain and conduct Risk Assessment
- Initiate and follow up corrective actions and non-conformities
- Prepare and update incident / accident analysis
- Assist Project Manager in investigating accidents cases, prepare I-report, prepare in-house accident investigation report
Job Requirements
Min 2 years of relevant working experience in the building construction industryDiploma in Engineering / Environmental / Health / Safety) or equivalent will be preferredPossess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) & ECOTell employers what skills you have
