The APM / DPM will play a critical role in supporting the Project Manager or Project Director in leading project teams to successfully deliver LTA rail communication projects in accordance with contractual obligations and customer expectations. Key responsibilities include :
Collaborate closely with the Project Director and Project Manager to develop, update, and maintain essential project documentation such as the project plan, quality plan, and risk management plan.
Assist in managing communications, reporting, and stakeholder expectations—both internal and external—to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Work alongside cross-functional team members, including Solution Architects, Technical Leads, System Engineers, and the Implementation Team. The APM / DPM will also coordinate with Product Specialists and Technical Subject Matter Experts as needed to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Review and monitor the quality of work produced by team members to ensure compliance with project specifications and customer expectations.
Support pre-sales activities by contributing to technical solutioning, effort and timeline estimation, and project delivery planning for tenders, RFPs, and presentations.
Job Requirements & Skills
Education : Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) or equivalent.
Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Lead or Project / Implementation Lead, with a strong track record in delivering railway communication systems, such as :
Public Address (PA) systems
CCTV systems
Passenger Information Display Systems
Network Infrastructure
PABX
Prior experience in LTA railway projects is highly preferred.
Technical Skills (advantageous) :
Experience in understanding and reviewing
Communication System / solution design
BIM modelling / MicroStation 3D CAD
Primavera P6 scheduling
Construction safety requirements
Soft Skills :
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Good verbal and written communication skills, including project reporting and progress updates.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a collaborative team player.
Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-driven.
Able to work independently and manage priorities under tight timelines in complex project environments.
