Roles & Responsibilities
The Project Engineer duties and responsibilities are as follows :
- Plan, schedule, organize & liaise with sub-contractors on daily work schedule.
- Manage & report site progress to respective block PM.
- Coordinate with site agent / coordinators on direction of work progress.
- Troubleshoot consultants’ drawings & resolve technical difficulties by raising RFI to Lead Engineer.
- Ensure environmental, safety & health practices on-site at all time.
- To conduct safety site inspections as per in-house mini-PM roles & responsibilities.
- Coordinate with QAQC dept. & sub-contractors on CONQUAS assessment.
- Arrange site inspection with Resident Engineer / Resident Technical Officer upon completion of site works.
- Supervise to ensure productivity & quality of sub-contractors’ works, in compliance to specific requirement e.g. contract specifications, in-house QMS & etc.
- Liaising with site admin & purchasing department on materials procurement & delivery.
- Other duties as assigned by the Departmental Manager.
