About the
Role
We're seeking a
results-driven and strategic Business Development
Manager to lead revenue generation across our
Academy division. This role is responsible for overseeing daily
sales operations, managing performance across multiple verticals
(inbound, outreach, B2B), and ensuring all activities align with
SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) regulatory
requirements.
You'll mentor and guide new sales
hires, provide clarity on government grant policies, and spearhead
efforts to meet and exceed team sales
targets.
Key
Responsibilities
Sales
Strategy & Revenue Ownership
Own and drive sales performance across inbound, outreach,
and corporate channels
Set and track sales
targets, pipelines, and conversion metrics for the team
Analyze trends and make data-driven decisions to boost
revenue
Team
Management & Onboarding
Lead, coach, and manage newly onboarded sales
staff
Conduct structured onboarding to align
with SSG guidelines and internal SOPs
Reinforce compliance knowledge and grant-related
policies
Regulatory
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure all sales activities meet grant and regulatory
requirements
Liaise with internal compliance
and training teams to uphold audit readiness
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure consistent
data

Operational
Oversight
Coordinate
daily sales operations and scheduling for events and
outreach
Collaborate cross-functionally with
marketing, HR, and partnerships to support campaigns
Present performance insights to leadership through
regular reporting
Who
are we looking for?
Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, or related
field
5 years in business development, sales
team leadership, or client-facing roles
Familiarity with SSG, WSQ frameworks, and government
grant schemes is a plus
Excellent
communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, analytical, and passionate about developing
high-performing teams
