- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify opportunities for automation.
- Design and develop automated solutions for existing machines, integration of new machines.
- Support Service and Project teams for issues related to automation of the existing and new installed base in Singapore and the region.
- Provide remote support to internal and external customers.
- Conduct site surveys / inspections and thus recommend upgrades and improvements in process.
- Identify areas for process improvement and optimization through automation.
- Monitor system performance, analyze data, and implement enhancements to maximize efficiency and reliability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in automation engineering.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation designs, configurations, and procedures.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate potential hazards associated with automated systems.
- Participate in audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Training and opportunities for continued development will be offered.
Skills / Experiences / Personal Strengths
Proven experience in automation engineering, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems.Proficiency in Programming and troubleshooting.Strong understanding of control systems and industrial automation technologies.Hands-on experience with automation tools, frameworks, and platforms.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Sound knowledge in Electrical and Instrumentation is preferred.Experience with site work and customer interaction is essential.Requirements and Qualifications
