Customer / Field Service Engineer Leader
This role supports the first private semiconductor FAB in India and builds the semiconductor ecosystem within the country. The position offers the prospect of advancing your career alongside the industry while establishing a high‑performing team from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Building the Organization : create the Field Service Organization, hiring, onboarding, and upskilling talent to meet business requirements.
- Leadership : provide direction, coaching, and development for team members.
- Problem Solving : identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational issues.
- Customer Relationship Management : maintain and develop relationships with customers.
- Operational Management : manage financial, manpower, and operational requirements.
- Communication : effectively communicate business progress, goals, and updates.
- Safety Practices : ensure appropriate safety practices among team members.
- Quality Improvement : promote processes to reduce cycle time and drive continuous improvement.
Additional Requirement (Job Location)
Candidates must be open to relocating to Singapore or Taiwan for an initial assignment of 6 to 9 months upon joining. After completing the first 12 months, they will be expected to transition to a permanent role based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India .
Domain Skills
Sound Industrial Engineering practices related to the semiconductor domain (e.g., preventive and corrective maintenance).Comprehensive understanding of the semiconductor industry, wafer FAB equipment, and chip manufacturing processes.In the absence of semiconductor domain experience, an equivalent background in biotechnology manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.Experience

Education
Bachelors / Masters in Engineering or Equivalent.
