The Role

TheroleisforaSenior Associate withinour‘Credit Risk Solutions’,Credit&PoliticalRiskInsuranceteam, based in Singapore. This role will involve working in a team focusing on a broad base of Singapore and International Financial Institution clients.

Dutiesandresponsibilitieswillincludebutnotbelimitedto :

Taking responsibly for account management of key Financial Institution accounts; including broking / placementstrategy,productdevelopment,portfoliomanagementandexpandingclient relationships
Workingwithexistingclientstoreviewtheirexistingprograms,presentingthebestpossiblesolutions and client outcomes
Negotiationofpolicywordings / contractreviews
ContributetodeliveryofournewbusinessstrategyandtargetswithintheGlobalLineofBusiness
Proactivelyleadinitiativesfornewandexistingclients
AttendindustryeventsandconferencesinSingaporeandthroughoutAsia
DevelopandmaintaincloserelationshipswiththeInsurersacrosstheregion
Developgoodworkingrelationshipsandworkcloselywiththemaincarriersintheregion
Manage and maintain a portfolio of existing placements, including billing, operational requirements and co-ordination with internal claims team

Qualifications

The Requirements

EducatedtoDegreeleveland / orMasters

Holds BCP & ComGI

Abilitytoworkindependentlyonarangeofplacementsandtakeresponsibilityforkeyaccounts

Problemsolvinganddecision-makingskillsessential

Excellent communication (written, verbal, oral & presentation) skills and interpersonal skills essential

Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment where lateral thinking, initiative, self-motivation and decision-making skills are crucial

Good use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Knowledge of the credit insurance product suite preferred

Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle a large workload and prioritize work effectively

Strong team player with good people skills
