Report to and undergo regular supervision with HOD, Vice Principal and / or Principal as required.
Accompany individual student during school day.
Integrate individual student in daily interactions with peers, teachers, and other school community members.
Keep parent(s) updated regarding individual's progress and / or areas of need.
Assist individual student with assignments.
Ensure that individual student keeps up with lesson.
Collaborate with lead teacher of individual student to ensure progressive learning.
Assist lead teacher(s) with classroom management, day to day operations in running the classroom and administrative tasks when required.
Assist lead teacher(s) in implementing quality lesson plans and individual education plans regarding the individual student.
Assist lead teacher(s) in enforcing rules of behaviour management in the classroom.
Prepare all lesson materials as assigned by lead teacher(s).
Develop and facilitate extra-curricular activities and 2 holiday camps per calendar year.
Be responsible for special duty assignments as required by management (e.g. morning duty, library monitor, bus monitor, document vetting, end of year performance coordinator, etc.).
Maintain accurate and complete student records as requited by laws, district policies and administrative regulations.
Observe and evaluate individual student's performance, behaviour, social development and physical health.
Enforce all administration policies and rules governing student(s).
Adhere to and implement the school's processes and systems.
Attend parent-teacher meetings as and when required by lead teacher(s).
Collaborate with parents / guardians, other teachers, counsellors, therapists and administrators in order to resolve students’ behavioural and academic problems.
Attend professional meetings, serve on school committees, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence.
