Job description

Responsibilities :

Lead high impact R&D projects & focused on

cutting-edge automation technologies

Research

and evaluate emerging automation technologies to improve quality,

production efficiency, safety and reliability

Drive innovation, collaborate with cross-functional

teams, and ensure that R&D efforts align with business

objectives and industry trends

Manage project

delivery, budgets, and resources from concept to full scale

implementation

Collaborate with startups,

universities, research institutions, and industry partners to drive

innovation

Represent Yokogawa at conferences,

workshops, and industry events

Contribute to

patent filings and intellectual property development

Mentor junior technologists and foster knowledge

sharing

Qualifications

& Skills : Master /

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related

field.

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience

in technology development, R&D, or innovation in sensing,

control and optimization with at least 2 years' experience in

managing a team

Proven track record of leading

R&D projects, developing innovative technologies, and managing

cross-functional teams.

Experience in new

ventures, small business growth, start-ups is a plus

Knowledge in smart manufacturing, industrial control

systems & sensors, and AI-powered industrial

applications

Relevant data analytics and

programming skills needed to support the research

work
