Role Description
The Head of Sales / Commercial Director, SEA will lead MOBKOI’s commercial charter across Southeast Asia with full revenue responsibility for the region, managing a sales team while spearheading growth across agencies and enterprise clients.
This is a high-impact, externally facing leadership position at the intersection of strategic partnerships and business development. It focuses on new business acquisition, programmatic growth, commercializing agency trading partnerships,and deep client engagement.
Success requires strategic vision, consultative sales expertise, executive presence, and strong people leadership to unlock scaled growth and market presence across Southeast Asia. Ideal candidates will pair these with a strong network, proven deal-closing skills, and deep familiarity with the digital media and programmatic ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Sales Execution
- Own and exceed regional revenue targets with consistency and rigour.
- Lead the team in building and maintaining a qualified pipeline across agencies and clients, driving sustained
growth through proactive prospecting, strategic opportunity development, negotiations, and deal structuring.
Ensure best-in-class activations and measurable outcomes across MOBKOI’s creative and programmaticsolutions.
GTM Planning & Market Development
Shape and execute the commercial strategy for SEA, including market expansion into underpenetrated andemerging markets.
Elevate MOBKOI's positioning through thought leadership, executive engagement, and strategic partnerships.Act as a growth catalyst by identifying whitespace opportunities and spearheading scaled market-levelinitiatives across the region.
Business Development & Relationship Management
Develop and deepen senior relationships with decision-makers across brand marketing teams, media agencies,and trading desks, positioning MOBKOI as a trusted growth partner.
Define and execute partnership plans to drive programmatic inclusion, trading agreements, and scaled revenuegrowth across both agency and direct client channels
Secure new client briefs and support multi-market pursuits to accelerate net-new logo acquisition.Act as a consultative partner, embedding MOBKOI’s creative and programmatic solutions into client and agencyplanning processes while equipping the sales team with tools, training, and narratives that drive conversion.
People Leadership
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing regional sales team.Instill sales rigour, pipeline discipline, forecasting excellence, and performance accountability.Foster a growth mindset and a collaborative culture, driving adaptability, innovation, and high performancethrough change.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with internal teams across client success, creative, operations, publisher management, and product todesign and deliver seamless client solutions.
Provide structured market and agency insights to influence internal prioritization, brief response strategies, andglobal product, marketing, and go-to-market roadmaps.
Define operational frameworks and best practices that enable flawless execution, exceptional customerexperience, and stronger agency and client engagement.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in digital media sales, adtech, or media agencies, with a proven record of exceedingrevenue targets.
Established senior-level network across direct clients, agency groups, and independent agencies.Demonstrated success in SEA markets, including driving expansion into new territories.Expertise in programmatic advertising and mobile-first solutions.Proven ability to lead teams, motivate talent, and deliver results in high-growth environments.Commercially astute and strategic, with strong analytical, planning, communication, and negotiation skills toinform sales approaches and optimize performance.
Executive presence and high emotional intelligence, able to influence C-level stakeholders and thrive in afast paced, agile, and entrepreneurial environments.
