Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Science, Science Education, or related discipline (MOE-recognised qualifications preferred). At least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in Primary Science, ideally with PSLE-level classes. Strong knowledge of the Singapore MOE Science syllabus and PSLE exam format . Effective classroom management and strong communication skills. Passionate about education, patient with students, and committed to improving learning outcomes. Seashell Academy, part of Xinghai Education Group , is a leading tuition centre in Singapore specialising in Mathematics, Science, and Chinese for primary school students preparing for the PSLE .
As we expand rapidly, we are seeking passionate and committed Science Teachers to join our academic team at Eastpoint Mall.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Science classes for Primary 1–6 students , with strong emphasis on PSLE preparation .
- Deliver lessons aligned with the MOE Science syllabus and Seashell Academy’s curriculum.
- Guide students in concept mastery, experimental skills, open-ended questions, and exam strategies .
- Monitor and assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and feedback.
- Provide regular updates to parents on student performance and learning needs.
- Foster curiosity, problem-solving, and scientific thinking in the classroom.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to share resources and improve teaching effectiveness.
