Job descriptionGCE 'O' / 'A' Level / NTC / Nitec / Higher Nitec with minimum 4 year working experience Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Quality Management with minimum 2 year working experience. Good interpersonal skill and ability to communicate with all levels. Good understanding of technical drawing. Familiar with all inspection methods and techniques. Basic understanding of General Dimension & Tolerance control. Proficient in the use of various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection of incoming, in-process and final inspection on machined parts, weldments and assemblies as per technical drawings, customer's specifications and requirements through the use of various types of inspection equipment set up.
- Perform dimension check on parts, components and tools using micrometers, calipers, comparators, indicator, CMM & Faro Arm.
- Perform visual, mechanical and functional check on components.
- Report non-compliance parts to QA Engineer.
- Performs visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing components / parts.
- Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures.
- Responsible for conducting inspection in accordance with approved technical data.
