About the

role :

The Senior Staff Nurse will

play a pivotal role in overseeing nursing services within

GenPrime's Ambulatory Surgical Centre (ASC), ensuring safe and

efficient perioperative care in compliance with MOH and Healthcare

Services Act (HCSA) regulations. This role requires strong

leadership in operating theatre nursing, meticulous attention to

infection control, and a commitment to quality improvement. The

successful candidate will support gynecological surgical procedures

and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to uphold the highest

standards of patient safety and regulatory

compliance.

Key

Responsibilities : 1.

Regulatory Oversight

Serve as the designated nurse overseeing ASC nursing

services, as required under HCSA licensing conditions.

Ensure that all perioperative care complies with MOH,

HCSA, and internal infection control protocols.

Support license-related documentation, audits, and

inspection preparation related to nursing

services.

2. Operating

Theatre Nursing Leadership

Lead and coordinate the delivery of perioperative nursing

care during minor surgical procedures (e.g. hysteroscopy,

polypectomy, dilatation and curettage, and evacuation of

uterus,).

Oversee pre-op, intra-op, and

post-op patient safety and nursing workflow.

Ensure compliance with surgical safety checklists,

aseptic techniques, and proper use of surgical instruments and

PPE.

3. Training &

Competency Support

Support the onboarding and clinical supervision of

perioperative nursing staff and healthcare assistants.

Assist in maintaining up-to-date training and competency

records for staff involved in ASC services.

Provide in-service guidance on OT safety, patient

positioning, and sterile field

maintenance.

4.

Quality and Safety Monitoring

Monitor nursing-related incidents, surgical site

infections, and post-op complications; escalate as

required.

Participate in internal clinical

audits and quality improvement activities related to ASC

services.

Maintain proper documentation of

nursing actions, care plans, and patient recovery

assessments.

Requirements :

Registered Nurse with current registration under the

Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).

Post-registration qualification in Operating Theatre

(Perioperative) Nursing, e.g. Advanced Diploma in Perioperative

Nursing or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of

hands-on operating theatre nursing experience.

Prior formal supervisory experience is not mandatory but

must be able and willing to assume the supervisory oversight role

for ASC nursing services for GenPrime Singapore.

Strong knowledge of perioperative protocols, OT safety,

and MOH regulations.

Reliable,

detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a leadership

capacity.

Good communication and mentoring

skills.
