Responsibilities
Edit scholarly articles submitted to MDPI journals to a publication-ready standard.Apply knowledge of the English language and the context of the manuscript to make the English clear, consistent, and grammatically correct, communicating the author’s message without changing their voice unnecessarily.Ensure manuscripts align with MDPI’s house rules.Meet tight deadlines and hit targets with a high degree of consistency.Take on additional roles, such as training colleagues within and outside of the department and editing corporate material.Collaborate with members of Editorial and Production teams.Benefits

Experience and Skills
Essential criteria :
A bachelor’s degree in any subject.Expert knowledge of the English language.Experience in editing, translating, or publishing.Excellent time management and organisation skills.High attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and as part of an international team.Right to work in Singapore.Desirable skills and experience :
Professional experience in academic research, editing, or publishing.A master’s, PhD, or equivalent qualification.Familiarity with LaTeX.Experience working in an office environment.The Employer
