Roles & Responsibilities
Operations Remittance Specialist
1 year direct contract (subject to renewal / conversion)
1. Transaction Processing :
- Process and verify remittance transactions (domestic and international) in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure all transactions are compliant with banking regulations and company policies
- Handle remittance requests, including fund transfers, payments, and foreign currency exchanges.
- Ensure timely processing of customer requests including funds transfer, currency exchange, inward / outward remittance, and account management
- Process operational matters such as SWIFT Telegraphic transfer, system testing, and other ad-hoc duties as needed
- Assist Relationship Managers (RM) to handle customer requirements
2. Customer Support :
Assist clients with inquiries related to remittance services, providing solutions to resolve issues efficientlyOffer support for any transaction disputes or errors and ensure prompt resolution3. Compliance & Risk Management :
Ensure all remittance operations comply with local, regional, and international regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirementsMonitor suspicious transactions and report any compliance issues to the relevant departments4. System & Data Management :
Maintain accurate records of remittance transactions in banking systemsWork with IT teams to resolve system issues and ensure smooth remittance processingGenerate and analyze reports for management and regulatory purposes5. Collaboration :
Work closely with other departments such as finance, compliance, and customer service to ensure seamless transaction processingLiaise with correspondent banks, clearing agents, and other external entities as required6. Training & Development :
Stay updated with the latest trends and regulations in remittance servicesParticipate in training programs to enhance knowledge and operational efficiencyJob Requirements
Possess at least a Diploma / Higher Diploma in any fieldAt least 3 years of experience in banking operations , particularly in remittance or payments processingKnowledge of SWIFT messageAwareness of risk controls, local and overseas market practices, and regulatory requirementsInterested applicants may apply, alternatively you may send in your CV to bexlyn.chiu@revup-proservices.com
