Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

As an IT Support Engineer, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to :

  • Providing end-user support and managing client devices and platforms.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to client platforms.
  • Responding promptly to incidents, investigating root causes, and delivering both temporary and permanent solutions. Keeping relevant stakeholders informed with timely updates.
  • Handling service requests related to client systems and platforms.
  • Monitoring service level agreements (SLAs), maintaining system configurations, and generating regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Participating in client platform upgrades and implementation projects.
  • Coordinating with vendors for hardware replacements and follow-ups.
  • Managing IT assets, including updating and maintaining accurate asset records.
  • Handling user account management tasks such as account creation, password resets, and deletions.
  • Administering local servers to support software deployment and patch management.
  • Leading or supporting projects involving client platform implementations or upgrades.
  • Ensuring all deliverables comply with established SLAs, and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
  • Establishing and maintaining facility management standards and best practices to ensure consistent operations across teams.
  • Preparing and submitting regular progress reports.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • Minimum qualification : Higher Nitec or Diploma in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in IT administration; basic networking knowledge is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with client systems and technologies will be an added advantage.
