Summary
We are seeking a
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) to join
our team, a role ideal for an experienced professional with a
strong foundation in HVAC engineering ,
energy audits , and
data-driven performance
management .
As a CEM, you will
play a key role in identifying and implementing
Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) ,
optimizing HVAC systems through
technical design and analysis, and collaborating with
cross-functional teams to automate energy data collection,
reporting, and fault detection. You will manage the
end-to-end project lifecycle , from
conceptual design to post-implementation verification, while
ensuring alignment with clients' sustainability targets and
regulatory frameworks.
Key
Responsibilities
HVAC
Optimization & Engineering
Analysis
Perform
cooling load calculations , equipment
sizing, and control strategy development to enhance HVAC system
performance.
Evaluate and redesign HVAC
configurations to reduce energy consumption while maintaining
operational effectiveness.
Ensure engineering
solutions comply with local codes and sustainability
standards.
Energy
Audits & ECM Development
Conduct comprehensive on-site energy
audits across commercial, industrial, and
institutional facilities.
Identify, evaluate,
and prioritize Energy Conservation Measures
(ECMs) with financial and environmental
justifications (ROI, payback, GHG reductions).
Prepare detailed audit reports and present
recommendations to
stakeholders.
Data
Integration & Analytics
Work closely with our Data Science
team to automate energy data collection, real-time
monitoring, and performance analysis.
Support
the development and deployment of fault detection and
diagnostics (FDD) tools for HVAC and building
systems.
Analyze trends and anomalies to drive
predictive maintenance and continuous
improvement.
Project
Management
Manage the
full lifecycle of energy projects ,
including concept development, design, tendering, implementation,
commissioning, and measurement & verification
(M&V).
Prepare technical documentation
such as BOQs , specifications, and
schematic drawings.
Coordinate on-site
activities with contractors, vendors,
consultants , and internal teams to ensure quality
and timely
execution.
Stakeholder
Engagement & Compliance
Interface with clients, facility managers, and internal
leadership to align energy goals with broader sustainability
objectives.
Ensure compliance with relevant
local energy efficiency regulations
and building codes.
Support green building
certification processes (e.g., BCA Green
Mark ).
Qualifications
Certified Energy Manager
(CEM) credential from AEE (Association of Energy
Engineers) - preferred.
Bachelor's degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related
field.
7 to 9
years of relevant experience in energy management,
HVAC optimization, or building systems engineering.
Familiar with data analysis platforms, BMS, and energy
reporting systems.
