Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Follow MRP to release (PO / RFQ) to suppliers.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding purchase-related issues and tracking shipment status.
• Responsible for overseeing procurement, logistics, and production planning.
• Ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery in all procurement functions.
• Identify potential suppliers and conduct market research to assess their capabilities.
• Evaluate suppliers for components / materials / procurement products from local / overseas.
• Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and lead times, ensuring punctual deliveries.
• Manage Engineering Change, maintain warehouse stock levels to support production.
• Liaise with stakeholders, work on complex issues & analysis of situations / data to identify factors.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Determine methods / procedures on new assignments and coordinate with team members
• Provide Management with data and reports related to purchasing activities.
• Review purchasing system improvements and streamlining purchasing processes.
