Description :
Team Members play mission-critical roles in either front-of-house
or back-of-house areas in the restaurant. Their focus is the
delivery of great tasting food, genuine hospitality, fast and
accurate service inside a clean and safe
environment.

SPECIFIC
DUTIES
Ensure food is
prepared according to Chick-fil-A recipes, portion standards, and
presentation requirements. Produce top quality food.
Ensure opening and closing procedures are executed
properly.
Conduct shift-level checks of food
temperatures, labelling, and storage practices.
Execute food safety protocols in line with SFA
regulations and Chick-fil-A's ORC
Execute a
clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment at all
times.
Execute a clean, clutter free kitchen
floor / break-room floor and office floor at all times.
Uphold proper use, cleaning and maintenance of kitchen
equipment.
Receive and store inventory
according to guidelines.
Lead BOH team during
service, coordinating prep, cooking, and handoffs to
FOH.
Troubleshoot minor issues with equipment
or procedures, escalating larger issues to the BOH
Supervisor.
Track prep levels during shifts,
ensuring sufficient food without over-prepping.
Minimize waste by coaching proper portioning and storage
practices.
Report shortages or inconsistencies
in supplies to the BOH Supervisor.
Conduct
regular inspections of cleanliness, sanitation, and equipment
functionality.
Troubleshoot simple operational
challenges quickly to maintain service flow.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and prevent food
shortages or excess waste.
Manage kitchen
costs by controlling waste, optimizing prep levels, and ensuring
efficient labour deployment.
Execute key
messages from BOH manager meeting to team members for continuous
improvements.
