ATUM build ventures from scratch by helping researchers, corporates and founders turn breakthrough research into venture-scale companies, backing them with capital, corporate networks, and the operational guidance to navigate everything from technical validation and grants to go-to-market and growth.

Please note, we are gathering a talent pool and will be hiring this role in Q1, 2026.

The Opportunity :

We’re growing fast and looking for a Junior Operations Manager to help keep our engine running, from supporting venture teams and managing operations, to helping us host inspiring events for our community.

You’ll sit at the heart of our operations, helping everything run smoothly across people, processes and events. It’s a hands-on, highly collaborative role, perfect for someone organised, curious, and excited to be close to both tech and entrepreneurship.

You'll

  • Support day-to-day operations across the team.
  • Track key workflows (contracts, expenses) and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Help plan and run events like demo days, founder meetups, deep-tech workshops and investor sessions.
  • Manage logistics, from venues and catering to guest lists, signage and tech setup.
  • Support communications before, during and after events (invitations, follow-ups, community engagement).
  • Maintain documentation via Notion for venture-building processes and best practices.
  • Support reporting and performance tracking across the portfolio.

Requirements

You're likely a great fit if you :

  • Have 1-2 years of experience in operations, events or startup coordination.
  • Are extremely organised and proactive - you love making systems work.
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy working with diverse teams (scientists, engineers, sales, investors).
  • Are comfortable with startup tools (Notion, Google Workspace, Workable, etc.).
  • Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where agility is key.
  • Are curious about deep-tech, innovation, venture capital and building companies from zero to one.
