Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose
To support Department Manager on the total purchase order plan, monitor and control inventory level and adjust the inventory management strategy based on past and forecast order received trend. To coordinate new product and design change part switchover plan
Nature & Scope
1. To issue Purchase Order and expediting the part delivery based on order requirement.
2. Monitoring the inventory level and adjust the purchasing setting accordingly based on order requirement.
3. To ensure the purchase part is meet with the required Design and Process specifications
4. Sourcing and evaluate the new potential supplier that are able to provide better price, short leadtime, lower MOQ and other conditions of sales & purchase.
5. Communicates with Supplier to resolve problems that may arise regarding the part quality issue, delivery, price and other condition of sales & purchase.
6.Liaise with Production Control Planner to adjust the production loading quantity for the potential part shortages.
7. Liaise with Engineering Department for the New Part switchover plan to minimize the dead stock inventory level.
8. Liaise with Engineering Department for New product preparation and advise the new part readiness schedule plan
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
