Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting
- Maintain full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments accurately and timely.
2. Financial Reporting
Prepare management reports and schedules to support financial analysis.Assist in the preparation of unaudited financial statements and year-end closing.Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.3. Taxation and Statutory Compliance
Liaise with external tax agents for corporate tax computation and filing.Ensure timely submission of GST returns and other statutory filings.Support compliance with local financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g. SFRS).4. Audit and Documentation
Prepare supporting schedules for internal and external audits.Liaise with auditors to provide required documents and explanations.Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.At least 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably handling full set of accounts.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. InfoTech, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP).Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local tax regulations.Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred (Optional)
Experience working in SMEs or multi-entity environments.Familiar with project accounting.Available to start immediately or on short notice.Tell employers what skills you have
