MINIMART STORE MANAGER

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the entire store, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow at all times

Take full responsibility for cash handling, electronic payments, daily cash reconciliation, and investigation of discrepancies

Supervise checkout operations to ensure accurate scanning, correct pricing, receipts, refunds, and change issuance

Manage and monitor staff deployment, attendance, punctuality, and shift scheduling

Train, guide, and supervise cashier and floor staff to ensure compliance with company SOPs and service standards

Handle customer complaints and escalations, providing prompt and appropriate resolutions

Ensure stock availability, proper shelf arrangement, replenishment, and accurate price labelling

Conduct regular stock checks, monitor inventory levels, and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies

Coordinate with management on stock ordering, promotions, and sales performance

Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and security, including cashier area, sales floor, and back-of-house

Enforce company policies, procedures, and loss-prevention measures

Prepare and submit daily sales reports, cash reports, and operational updates

Ensure compliance with audit requirements and internal controls

Act as the main person-in-charge of the outlet during assigned shifts and ensure business continuity
