Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead preparation of project information materials for banks / lenders through close interaction with internal teams such as finance, new site development, construction & operations
  • Mentor and supervise analysts in the team to improve performance and delivery, always in keeping with Vantage values
  • Ability to lead and manage debt transaction execution processes including preparing due diligence and valuation reports, addressing bank queries, managing a virtual data room, working with internal and external counsels to negotiate financing documentation in order to drive a successful deal closing
  • Create, maintain & update flexible, accurate & user-friendly financial models
  • Assist in negotiation of term-sheets and prepare recommendation of debt financing solution
  • Respond to lender and rating agency due diligence requests
  • Manage information flow with banks, lawyers and internal constituencies
  • Perform covenant compliance analysis
  • Prepare cost-benefit analysis of various interest rate hedging mechanisms (swap, cap) & provide recommendation
  • Assist in executing interest rate hedging transactions
  • Drive post-closing loan management together with Treasury operations (KYC, covenant management, Treasury interface, ongoing credit reviews / queries, lender approval requests)
  • Work closely with the Head of APAC Capital Markets and the CFO to prepare internal reporting materials (business case assumptions, MBR updates, investor updates, budget requests, board decks, other internal queries)
  • Other tasks as assigned for general support of the capital markets function

Job Requirements

  • Strong analytical mind, problem solving skills, quantitative / qualitative skillset, and modelling skills, required
  • Self-starter, ability to operate independently in fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail and an ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner
  • Between 5-8 years of banking experience with debt-focused functions (Leveraged Finance, Project Finance, Real Estate Finance) experience preferred, or other relevant experience focused on loan / debt capital markets
  • Effective communication skills, preferred
  • Experience in Data Center, Real Estate, and Communications infrastructure sectors will be a positive
