The Job

  • Support Facilities Manager in assisting in managing and reviewing EH&S issues per WSHA guidelines.
  • Promote EH&S Culture by engaging with personnel to foster a positive EH&S culture.
  • Evaluate, assess and interpret new EH&S legislation, advising the Site Leadership Team.
  • Risk Assessments, Conduct and lead risk assessments in various areas, including manual handling and fire legislation.
  • Ensure safety procedures for external visitors, contractors, and engineers on-site.
  • Investigate accidents, determine causes, and recommend preventive measures.
  • EH&S Audits : Conduct periodic audits of EH&S management systems and review emergency plans.
  • Manage planned maintenance systems, supervise contractor work, and ensure project validation and design calculations.

  • Strong understanding of Singapore EHS legislation.
  • 3-5 years of EHS / facilities experience with a basic local EHS qualification preferred.
  • Multi-skilled technician with the ability to achieve a recognized qualification.
  • Comprehensive understanding of building maintenance aspects.
  • Willingness to work outside normal hours for emergencies or global meetings.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good IT knowledge, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
