Roles & Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY :
The NPI Manager has to lead and manage the successful introduction of new products from concept to mass production. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure project timelines are met, and drive continuous improvement in product launch processes.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage and oversee the entire NPI process from concept to production.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Lead cross-functional meetings and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Drive continuous improvement in NPI processes and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Ability to explain / present complex technical and data to Customer.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report progress to stakeholders.
- Support pilot builds, production ramp-up, and post-launch reviews.
- Review processes to analyze, control and minimize deviations using statistical tools
- Follow-up on new processes to ensure processes are tested and stable before and during production
- Liaise with US, Malaysia and Singapore technical and engineering staffs to resolve any engineering issues that may occur from time to time
- Supervise and mentor direct reports, providing guidance, performance feedback, and development support.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks / projects as and when assigned.
