What is the opportunity?
As a Trust Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration of trust structures managed in our Singapore office. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the administrative tasks associated with trust management, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of trust services to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our trust administration operations in Singapore.
What will you do?
- Manage a portfolio of trust relationships, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of services.
- Safeguard assets and maintain all required documentation for trust structures.
- Collaborate with Wealth Planners to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in client meetings, trust review presentations, and other key stakeholder meetings as required.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of the Asian market, including cultural understanding of clients and their structuring needs.
- Handle ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
The role would typically require 5+ years of experience in trust and fiduciary structuring.Strong technical knowledge of trust laws and regulations in respective jurisdictions.Good operational knowledge of various types of trusts available in respective jurisdictions.Familiarity with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Strong team player with excellent customer servicing skills.Self-motivated and able to work independently.Nice-to-have
Degree in Accounting, Estate Planning, or a related field is nice-to-have.STEP qualified or ACCA certification.Prior experience working in a similar role in a private bank or trust company.Tell employers what skills you have
