Proposal Engineer (Water Treatment / MNC) - Islandwide, SG

Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is a leader in the Water Treatment industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Proposal Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.

Responsibilities

• Review tender specifications and customer requirements to prepare process designs.
• Obtain quotes from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors based on requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors to explore new technologies and implement customer applications.
• Engage with customers for technical information and clarifications.
• Prepare cost-effective estimates.
• Create commercial and technical proposals for timely bid submissions.
• Generate and coordinate P&ID and General Arrangement drawings.
• Work with Business Development to apply strategies for winning bids.
• Coordinate with technical teams for clarification support.
• Follow up on submitted proposals and opportunities.
• Negotiate with vendors and customers when necessary.
• Upon project award, verify PO contract compliance.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to drive more opportunities.
• Any ad-hoc duty as given
