Responsibilities

• Oversee a range of data-related functions that includes creating Data and Information Strategy, Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Science and Analytics as well as ensuring data quality.
• Develop data procedures and policies, and work closely with various departments to collect, prepare, organize, protect, and analyze data assets.
• Use data to stay ahead of the competition, drive revenue, optimize process, and reduce costs as well as identifying potential gaps or anomalies.
• Establish a strong data driven approach to decision making, leveraging modeling techniques to identify, analyze and present actionable data to drive business decisions.
• Design and execute the data strategy and roadmap through thorough understanding of the business and engaging with senior business stakeholders.
• Keep up with ever changing regulations, avoid data breaches and put in measures to protect data that is being transmitted as well as stored data.
• Oversee the collection, storage, management, and quality of data.
• Effective communication of status, value, and importance of data collection to executive members and across the firm.
