Job Summary : The
Clinical Support Specialist provides on-site support, training, and
expertise in the use of medical devices within the operating room
and other clinical settings. This role ensures safe, effective, and
efficient use of the company's products, working closely with
surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff. The Specialist acts as a key
resource for clinical education, troubleshooting, and customer
support before, during, and after surgical
procedures.
Key
Responsibilities :
Provide direct support to surgeons and operating room
staff during procedures involving the company's medical
devices.
Train healthcare professionals on
proper device usage, safety, and best practices.
Assist in the installation, setup, and demonstration of
medical devices.
Serve as the primary clinical
resource for troubleshooting device issues in real time.
Maintain detailed knowledge of device technology,
clinical applications, and regulatory guidelines.
Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams to
improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, industry
regulations, and company standards.
Participate in continuing education and product training
to remain current on surgical techniques and product
updates.
Qualifications :
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Biomedical
Science, Life Sciences, or related healthcare field (or equivalent
clinical experience).
Prior experience in a
clinical or operating room environment strongly
preferred.
Knowledge of surgical procedures
and familiarity with operating room protocols.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and training
skills.
Ability to problem-solve under
pressure in a surgical environment.
Willingness to travel to hospitals / clinics as
required.
