What the Role Is
Part Time Fire Safety Manager
- Assist to establish a Fire Safety Committee and Company Emergency Response Team (CERT)
- Assist to develop and implement Emergency Response Plan (ERP) in accordance to the Fire Safety (ERP) regulations 2013.
- Review and update of Emergency Response Plan (ERP)
- Coordinate Fire Safety Committee Meeting and record minutes of meeting (when required)
- Conduct Emergency Evacuation Exercise (Fire Drill) and Table-Top Exercise (TTE) and prepare post-mortem reports.
- Conduct fire safety inspection to ensure site is free of fire hazards and that the fire safety and protection systems installed on site are maintained (by building’s appointed contractors) to the standard that meets local statutory requirements.
- Liaise and coordinate with Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) on all matters pertaining to fire safety and its requirement on behalf of the client and provide advisory on fire safety related matters and any other requirements as per Fire Safety Act.
- Prepare annual FSM Report for the building owner.
- Attend the pre-fire certification renewal testing and endorse form FSSD-CED-FC01 / 02 / 03 on behalf of the building owner as required by the Fire Safety Act (1 site visit / per renewal). – exclude QP Services.
What we are looking for
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements : -
Certificate in Fire Safety Manager Course.Eligible to be registered with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) for building complianceStrong team player with the ability to work independentlyMust be a Singaporean citizen or Permanent Resident (PR).Ability to conduct inspections on weekdaysBonus : Nursing Home Experince and Staying at the East
