Senior Deal Desk Manager

As a Senior Deal Desk Manager, you will partner closely with Sales Leadership and regional Sales teams to shape the commercial success of Genesys across Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region when required.
This role plays a pivotal part in driving revenue growth and financial excellence by providing expert guidance on deal pricing, structure, and contractual terms. You will influence how strategic deals are built, negotiated, and executed while ensuring alignment with Genesys’ financial and strategic objectives.

What You’ll Do
- Partner with Sales Leadership, account teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop commercial strategies and deal structures that drive profitable growth.
- Review and approve deal terms in Salesforce (SFDC) ensuring accurate documentation in quotes and contracts.
- Lead exception approvals in collaboration with members of the Genesys Leadership Team (GLT) and other relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee the end-to-end negotiation process, acting as the primary liaison between Sales, Legal, and the customer to ensure smooth and compliant contract execution.
- Negotiate commercial and contractual elements with customers, ensuring alignment with company standards and business goals.
- Support and enhance pricing and margin analysis tools developed by partner teams.
- Maintain strong market awareness and customer insight to influence and evolve commercial frameworks.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Revenue and Billing Operations, Customer Success Operations, Legal, Pricing, and Product Management to advance quote-to-cash and price realisation initiatives.
- Contribute to ongoing transformation initiatives aimed at improving Deal Desk efficiency, governance, and collaboration.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in a SaaS or technology environment, ideally within Sales Finance, Revenue Accounting, or a Deal Desk function (minimum 2 years in a Deal Desk role).Proven knowledge of software pricing, discounting, value positioning, and revenue recognition principles.Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with high attention to detail.Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-value transactions under pressure while maintaining quality and compliance.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior business leaders.Collaborative and self-motivated professional who thrives in cross-functional environments and can operate independently when required.Energetic, empathetic, and commercially astute, with a focus on achieving successful outcomes for both Genesys and our customers.Tell employers what skills you have
