GL Accountant (Regional) / Location: West

The Company

Our client is a US MNC with a history of 60 years, within the supply chain solutions industry. They are currently looking to hire a GL Accountant to join their fast-paced finance team. This role will take care of regional countries.


The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you are tasked to handle GL function for a few regional countries. Responsibilities include preparation of journal entries and financial statements up to month end closing, ensuring books are closed in compliance with accounting procedures, resolving accounting discrepancies, handing account reconciliations, involved in variance analysis, preparation and reviewing of budget, liaising with internal and external auditors as well as participating in streamlining of processes.


Your Profile

You should have a degree in accounting and finance or its equivalent and bring along with you a minimum of 5 years' experience in the relevant capacity. You are well versed in accounting principles and practices, have an analytical mindset, are a team player, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
