Job Description
Provide school-based occupational therapy services for children with autism and intellectual disabilities. Conduct pull-out and in-class support, assessments, and progress reporting. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and Allied Health Professionals, and provide training to support students’ functional and daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized occupational therapy services within a school environment.
- Conduct pull-out sessions and / or provide in-class support for students.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and AHPs to ensure holistic student support.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive progress reports for students receiving therapy.
- Participate in student assessments with other professionals.
- Conduct training and coaching sessions for teachers and parents to enhance occupational therapy strategies.
- Utilize and demonstrate proficiency in adaptive equipment and sensory integration tools.
Working Schedule
Work Days : 4 days per week (preferred days negotiable)Working Hours : 8 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM and 1 : 00 PM – 5 : 00 PMExcluded Days : Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and school holidaysRequirements
Mandatory Qualifications :
Recognized Degree in Occupational TherapyFull registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)Preferred Skills and Experience :
