Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, outlining timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies, while fostering a collaborative, transparent, and accountable work environment to drive effective cross-functional teamwork and ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide clear and timely communication on project progress, status updates, and key decisions to stakeholders, including senior management, ensuring projects are delivered successfully, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with defined requirements.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, from gathering requirements to implementation, while adhering to established Project Management Processes and Methodologies, and working closely with the Project Lead / Owner or Sponsor to support strategic initiatives aligned with the organization's roadmap.
- Participate in pre-project planning activities, including effort estimation, high-level project structuring, and team coordination, while collaborating with internal departments and external partners to define requirements, align expectations, and ensure timely project completion.
- Track and oversee project execution, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation process.
- Recognize and manage project dependencies to prevent potential bottlenecks, maintain a comprehensive issue register to track and resolve concerns, and generate regular management reports to facilitate well-informed decision-making.
- Take responsibility for managing business and regulatory compliance risks by implementing effective mitigation measures, staying informed about industry trends, emerging risks, and new technologies to enhance overall risk management.
- Actively identify and communicate potential risks while promoting best practices in risk management, ensuring project delivery remains aligned with agreed cost, scope, schedule, and outcome expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.Over eight years of experience in Project Management, including a minimum of three years in IT Project Management within the financial industry, with exposure to core banking systems.Strong background in IT development, including design, coding, and testing, with experience managing the full software development lifecycle and working with various development methodologies, particularly the waterfall model (Mandatory) .Proven expertise in delivery management, with a track record of successfully steering projects toward smooth execution and on-time completion.Hands-on experience in IT Project Management, with PMP certification considered an advantage.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
