Floating Crane Master / Barge Master

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Proficient in navigating the waterways within the Port Limit of Singapore and adept at setting accurate navigation courses using navigational aids.
• Skilled in commanding tugboats for safe maneuvering from quay to vessel / rigs, and leading in the deployment of anchoring and mooring lines.
• Competent in navigation using navigational aids.
• Knowledgeable about tides, waters, coastlines, marine hazards, and weather conditions.
• Capable of operating locating devices, including communication and signaling equipment.
• Demonstrates sound judgment in assessing lifting feasibility.
• Proficient in creating lifting and mooring draft
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and plans effectively.
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of floating crane lifting capabilities.
• Able to promote and uphold safe working practices in the workplace.
• Communicate close with project managers and onsite coordinators to ensure safe operations
• Able to stay onboard during busy operational periods
