Roles & Responsibilities
A Site Supervisor's daily tasks are varied and crucial for the successful completion of construction projects. These responsibilities generally include :
- Supervising construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they perform tasks correctly and promptly.
- Planning daily work schedules, project tasks, and resource allocation to ensure project timelines are met.
- Reviewing construction plans and specifications to maintain accuracy and quality of the work performed.
- Conducting regular site inspections to enforce adherence to safety and building regulations.
- Training new team members on operational protocols and safety procedures.
- Communicating effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders about progress and any issues on site.
- Problem-solving on-site issues and making quick decisions to prevent project delays.
- Maintaining detailed records of construction processes, worker attendance, and project costs.
Education and Certification Requirements
