Aircraft Engine Mechanic

Job Description (Please note that shortlisted candidates will be assigned to selected scopes of work from the list below)

• Engine Test (aero engine testing / testbed operation, engine EBU / starter generator install / removal)
• Airframe / Powerplant Mechanic Skills (torque wrench, safety cable and lockwiring, handskills for mechanical fitment and removal task)
• Electrical and Instrumentation (use of electrical measurement tool, multi-meter, extraction / insertion repair kits)
• Module Building (strip and assembly, torque wrench, safety cable and lock wiring, manual measuring instruments)
• Balancing Machine (manual radial drill machine, CNC high speed grind machine, static balancing machine, horizontal balancing, etc.
• General Repair (handskills for mechanical fitment and removal tasks, metal fabrication, sheet metal work, spray painting, riveting, shot peening, extraction / insertion repair kits etc.)
• Fusion Welding (TIG / GTAW, resistance welding, SMAW, MIG, EB welding, etc.)
• Non-Destructive Test (penetrant, magnetic, ultrasound, radiographic, eddy current)
• Additive Manufacturing (laser powder deposition, laser wire deposition)
• Machining (manual horizontal lathe, CNC milling, CNC vertical lathe, CNC grinding, etc.)
• Coatings (thermal spray, plasma spray, plating, CVD, PVD)
• Cleaning (chemical, mechanical cleaning / blasting, chemical etching)
• Measurement (visual, manual measuring instruments, Coordinate measuring machine (CMM),etc.)
