JOB SUMMARY
The Sr Manager Finance leads a team of 10-15 and manages month end financial close, US GAAP reporting to Jabil Corporate and financial analysis and reports for business stakeholders. Role includes operational finance, working on transaction models and operation processes, financial planning & forecasting activities (FP&A), working with Regional and China sites’ finance team, driving and managing finance projects improvements. Business supporting includes contract manufacturing business and Supply Chain Centralized Procurement Hub. Perform ad hoc analyses as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads a team of 12-13, based in Penang and Singapore (majority in Penang)
- Manage financial close and reporting, management accounting, analyze financial and operational results and highlight areas of concerns for improvement.
- Works closely with regional and China manufacturing sites in financial reporting
- Business : Principal for Contract Manufacturing Sites and Supply Chain Centralization
- Coordinate and solution operational transactional models / issues – provide finance inputs on new business models, processes set up and workflows set up
- Continuously identify and drive improvement projects in finance and operational processes
- Financial planning & forecasting on R&D, SG&A operating cost, and participating in forecast cycles of the wider division
- Partner with business and operation leads and provide financial analysis data for business plans and strategies decision-making.
- Perform project analyses and ad hoc analyses as required.
- Act as Liaison between multiple departments and global finance teams.
- Co-work with regional treasury, regional tax, regional logistics and regional IT team to drive GBC-wide initiatives
- Ensure that monthly, quarterly, and annual reports are submitted within deadlines on a timely and accurate basis.
- Manage, coach, supervise and ensure staffs maintain high standard professionalism and attitude to their jobs.
- Ensure staff’s awareness on corporate policies.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a proper internal controls environment.
- Trains and develops subordinate staff.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Must have solid experience in finance and operational processes, driving project improvements and efficiencies, familiar with accounting regulations, US GAAP and IFRS.Experienced in managing a team size more than 5, and able to grow the teamProblem Solver, deliver good solutionsWork well with stakeholders and resourcefulGood multi-tasker, able to manage and coordinate different tasks, and diverse group of stakeholdersHave commercial acumen combined with risk awareness.Have excellent communication and problem solving skills.Have good English, and Mandarin language skills. Ability to speak and read Mandarin is compulsory as the role will need to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.Possess SAP knowledgeTM1 skills and knowledge is preferredGood at profitability analysis, finance reporting & internal control.Mature and capable to work in organization with many diverse stakeholdersBe able to analyze a great and complex amount of data.Familiarity with Principal Set-up and manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills requiredTravel : Once in 2-3 months or as needed.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management.Solid finance / accounting working experience in manufacturing site for more than 8 years with at least 3-5 years in managerial position.Or a combination of education, experience and / or training.Tell employers what skills you have
