Roles & Responsibilities

Work Arrangement :

  • Location : Parkway Centre
  • Work Days : Monday - Friday
  • Work hours during the school term : 9.30am-7pm
  • Work hours during MOE-scheduled school holidays : shifts between 7am-7pm

Job Description

A. Student Care

  • Support the daily operations of the centre, including both administrative and teaching duties
  • Ensure a seamless customer care experience for both prospective and existing clientele (from handling enquiries and collecting payments, to maintaining good relationships with existing clientele)
  • Ensure the overall safety and effectiveness of the learning environment
  • Prepare progress reports for students on a termly basis

    • B. Holistic Enrichment

  • Prepare materials and deliver enrichment lessons for students on designated days
  • Plan and facilitate special events and / or excursions during MOE-scheduled school holidays

    • C. Academic Teaching

  • Deliver quality lessons for assigned classes (in-house curriculum provided)
  • Effectively utilise teaching materials to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment
  • Mark and grade students’ assignments with value-added feedback
  • Perform required classroom administration responsibilities
  • Foster good relationships with students' parents through regular written and / or verbal feedback
  • Participate in level meetings / subject-sharing sessions

    • Job Requirements :

  • Must be able to teach one of the subjects from P1 to P6 (English / Mathematics / Science)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Up-to-date with latest MOE syllabus
  • At least 2-3 years of teaching experience
  • Have experience teaching in group settings (of between 4 to 12 students)
  • Passion for teaching and nurturing students
