NIE invites suitable applications to the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice (CRPP) for the position of Executive / Senior Executive, CRPP. This is a 2-year contract position.
Responsibilities
- Support the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice in administrative matters.
- Organize monthly CRPP leadership meetings and perform notetaking.
- Organize quarterly CRPP Education Research Scientists (ERS) meetings.
- Participate in committees and task forces e.g., RPIC, SWC.
- Support the CRPP ERSs on Centre level administrative matters. Serve as a Point of Contact for Admin-HR related matters, perform checks and coordinate submissions.
- Work closely with the Office for Research HR (OfR HR) on faculty administrative and research staff appointment matters.
- Handle general administrative tasks for the Centre, including space allocation, key management, and logistics for meetings.
- Assist in planning outreach events, symposia, workshops, and town halls.
- Manage social media and dissemination materials for the Centre.
- Work with CRPP Manager to organise retreats for the Centre.
- Maintain the CRPP staff spreadsheet.
- Manage visits and engagements with CRPP scholars and guests.
- Manage Mail dispatch for CRPP.
- Coordinate submission of forms and student declarations for ERSs.
- Liaise with NIE offices on CRPP graduate student and faculty supervision matters.
- Coordinate other collation requests from NIE from time to time.
- Any other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.
Requirements
A Polytechnic Diploma.At least 3 years of working experience in educational setting.Effective team player with positive attitude, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.Good organizational and communication skills with ability to prioritise, plan, multi-task and meet deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Experience in planning, managing and organizing events.Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.Application

Other Information
NIE staff can take chartered buses at their own expense from or near their homes to the NIE campus. This is subject to availability of seats.
