Job descriptionNegotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other commercial aspects with vendors. Ensure procurement aligns with Company’s interests and mitigates risks. Maintain and update procurement status reports to reflect real-time progress. Liaise with Design, QHSE, and TPC institutions to ensure smooth PO execution. Resolve technical and compliance issues collaboratively. Coordinate with logistics and customs to resolve issues related to material import / export. Ensure timely delivery and clearance of goods. Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 projects as Procurement Manager or Deputy Manager Oil & Gas sector experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with Middle East procurement standards and practices Must be willing to travel overseas for extended periods.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Procurement Expeditor / Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the timely and compliant execution of procurement activities for offshore oil and gas projects. This role involves coordinating with vendors, internal departments, and third-party institutions to manage procurement packages, resolve import / export issues, and maintain progress in line with project schedules.
Vendor Coordination & Meetings
- Organize and lead Pre-Inspection, Kick-Off, ITP, and FAT meetings with vendors.
- Prepare and submit related documentation for Owner approval.
