Job Overview :
We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth team performance, and adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a hands-on approach to managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and lead a team of servers, kitchen staff, and other restaurant personnel.
- Monitor and ensure customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and providing personalized service when necessary.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, ensuring that all staff adhere to restaurant policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and motivating work environment, fostering teamwork and cooperation.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and a high standard of food safety.
- Manage staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours.
- Handle customer complaints, resolve issues, and ensure customer feedback is addressed in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and collaborate with suppliers to manage stock levels.
- Assist in ensuring that the restaurant adheres to health, safety, and legal standards.
- Monitor and ensure that the restaurant complies with all local regulations, including those related to hygiene, licensing, and safety.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control systems and ensure consistent presentation of food and beverages.
- Assist in promoting special offers, events, or new menu items.
- Oversee cash handling, billing, and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy of transactions.
Qualifications & Skills :
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in restaurant supervision or a similar role in the F&B industry.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage, customer service, and inventory management.Ability to resolve conflicts and handle stressful situations.Strong organizational and time management skills.Knowledge of health and safety regulations (F&B Safety, HACCP, etc.).Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and basic accounting practices.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.Relevant certifications (e.g., Food Hygiene Certificate) are advantageous.WOLA Recruitment Pte Ltd
