Commissioning Lead - Electrical & Automation - Islandwide, SG

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise a team of engineers in commissioning shipboard equipment, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and in line with protocols.
• Plan, implement, and monitor Commissioning / HAT plans based on the master project schedule, including FAT, HAT, and PAT reviews and progress reporting.
• Manage resource planning, manpower allocation, and provide technical guidance to the QA Commissioning Team.
• Oversee job assignments, safety practices, risk assessments, and productivity, ensuring scope is delivered within budgeted man-hours.
• Coordinate with suppliers, OEMs, and cross-department teams to resolve interface and equipment-related issues.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and vendor discussions, tracking and updating commissioning status.
• Set team productivity targets, identify training needs, and oversee departmental improvements to enhance quality of work.
• Manage E-Ops team during sea trials and conduct safety audits on practices and employees.
