Legal Director – APAC (Corporate & Compliance)

A global FTSE 250 business is seeking a Corporate & Compliance Legal Director to join its APAC leadership team. Reporting to the Group General Counsel (London) and the APAC Divisional President (Singapore), this is a high-impact role supporting operations across Australia, India and Southeast Asia.

You’ll advise senior stakeholders on a broad range of matters, including corporate governance, compliance, M&A, regulatory risk, employment, and data protection, while driving a strong culture of ethics and accountability. You’ll also support the development of regional compliance frameworks and mentor local Ethics & Compliance Officers.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of legal strategy across multiple jurisdictions and help shape the compliance culture of a world-class international business.

About You

• Qualified lawyer with 8+ years’ experience.
• Background in compliance and corporate advisory, ideally within multinational or regulated industries.
• Experience across APAC markets such as Australia and India preferred.
• Commercial, pragmatic and confident advising senior leadership.
• Collaborative, hands‑on, and comfortable operating across complex, cross‑border environments.
