Full Time Primary School Tutor (Mathematics & Science)
Position Overview

You will play a key role in shaping our young learners’ foundational understanding and helping them gain confidence to perform at their best. Using our signature FAST Learning System, you’ll guide students to master key concepts, apply problem‑solving strategies, and develop time management and exam techniques — turning “knowing” into “scoring.” Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Learning Delivery Conduct engaging and structured lessons in Primary Mathematics and Science, aligned with the MOE syllabus. Incorporate Cambridge’s unique teaching methodology — the FAST Learning System — into every lesson. Design interactive lessons that simplify complex concepts and encourage inquiry‑based learning. Differentiated instruction to cater to varied student abilities and learning profiles. 2. Student Progress & Feedback Monitor, assess, and document student progress through regular quizzes, worksheets, and mock tests. Provide constructive feedback and actionable improvement plans for students and parents. Prepare monthly and termly reports to track student development and learning outcomes. 3. Parent Communication & Collaboration Communicate student progress to parents with clarity, empathy, and professionalism. Work closely with the CLG teaching team to ensure consistent lesson quality, curriculum alignment, and continuous improvement. Support parent consultations, Headstart briefings, and holiday program presentations when needed. 4. Professional Growth & Contribution Participate in teacher development sessions to enhance teaching effectiveness and mastery of the FAST framework. Contribute to the design and refinement of lesson materials, assessments, and enrichment activities. Skills & Attributes Strong subject knowledge in Primary Mathematics and Science (P3–P6 levels). Passionate about helping children learn, grow, and succeed academically and personally. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Positive, patient, and motivated to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. Organized, dependable, and adaptable to student needs and learning styles. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field. At least 3 years of working experience in teaching (MOE schools, enrichment, or tuition centres). Familiarity with the MOE Primary Curriculum and current exam formats is essential. Training will be provided for tutors new to the FAST Learning System. Working Hours
Weekdays (Wednesday–Friday) : 1PM – 9 : 30 PM (includes 1 meal break of 45 mins each day) Weekends (Saturday–Sunday) : 9 AM – 7 : 00 PM (includes 1 meal break of 45 mins each day) Rest Days : Monday & Tuesday (Schedules may vary during school holidays and special programs.)
